This place has really good food. I went with a couple of friends. We also got some of the cakes. My favorite was the Ube blueberry one. The only thing that I would say is that it's pretty pricey. I don't know much about how people price food but for the amount of pasta the squid ink pasta comes with I don't think it's worth the price.

We love love love this place! We love that cutesy feeling that it holds here. The service was speedy and the bakery was DELICIOUS. I had the parmesan and leak croissant (not pictured cuz i f'd that up LOL) and it was PERFECT. We love the ambience, but not as much as we love a Free Palestine

The food was amazing! My family and I really enjoyed everything we ordered. The food was freshly prepared and packed with flavor. The entire staff was attentive and friendly. They aim to please and truly embrace the concept of great customer service. The restaurant has a very cool vibe, packed with movers and shakers from the local area and beyond. EVERYTHING!!! In this economy, where our money is linked to war... I am glad Yava stands on the side of justice. I am very happy to see this!! I've been coming here with my sister for a while and I've loved everything so far!! Tonight we are having the biscoff cake and ALHAMDULILLAH ITS FIREEEEEEE. Yava is a wonderful place with wonderful staff as well!! Very kind and attentive. I love the indoors as it's very clean, nice ambiance, and great for meeting/working. Inshallah you find easy parking, parking lot is HUGE! Inshallah, May Yava continue to be this community pillar in Fresno where we can meet and be in the collective spirit against oppression. Looking for a cute and aesthetic cafe in Fresno for girls' brunch or a spot to take your date? YAVA Bakery and Cafe is the place! There's so many options of cakes and baked goods! If you're not feeling sweets, YAVA has a breakfast and a lunch menu as well. I was craving for some sweets so I had to try their various options of cakes. I love the moistness of the cakes, they were soft, fluffy, and flavorful as well. The tiramisu was my favorite and the strawberry cake was a close second! Being a big fan of ube, I really wanted to love the bluberry ube cake, however, the bluberry flavor was really strong that it hid the ube but that's okay, the cake was still good. The service was friendly which is a plus, can't wait to visit YAVA the next time I'm back in the area!

I'm soooo happy! Believe it or not, this is my first visit to YAVA, and I'm just crazy excited I came! The decor is simple, beautiful, crisp, clean, and inviting. We sat in a half-booth, and I am literally in love with the booth, so comfy and good quality with lovely marble tables. We came here at lunchtime in a group of 8, and it was a treat! Going on up to the counter to order, I wanted to try everything, but I landed on the Fava Bean Bowl. Once delivered, I wiped the bowl clean with my toasted sourdough. Squeezing the lemons and drizzling the olive oil made my meal just plain scrumptious, with multiple textures, flavors...and as I like to say- a party for my tastebuds! At our table, we enjoyed a variety of beverages, meals, desserts, and were all very pleased with our choices. I even got a beautiful piece of chocolate cake to take to family. The workers were all very knowledgeable and kind. The food and drinks were delicious, and I'm so pleased with the variety of vegan and vegetarian options as well. Everything came out in a timely manner, and correct. Truthfully, I called multiple people after, and told others in person about my awesome experience here, so you know I'm crazy about it! You must check them out...quality & care was evident in all aspects of this gem of a business! I can't wait to return and just forge through more menu items...again...just soooo happy, well done YAVA!

First time here and it won't be my last. Goodness gracious, my mouth and taste buds are still savoring the food. So many great flavors coming together and the dessert was absolutely exquisite. Ended up taking some more desserts home. Customer service was impecable. Only thing I would recommend is for the salmon to be chilled (that cold would have brought it together) instead of room temperature. I'll definitely be back this week.
